Nagasaki

60 years ago on this date, only 3 days after the Hiroshima bombing, an atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. At least 70,000 people were killed as a result of the bombing. Many survivors of the attacks feel they were part of the test, feeling the second bomb was completely unnecessary. Nagasaki is now, like Hiroshima, a city dedicated to promoting peace.
