New Blog

Oh wow, so I finally, finally! got the internet to work. There is some totally ridiculous set-up they have in these dorms/apartments, what have you. Anyways, it's time I moved the blog to its new home. From now on, if I stick to it, all new blog posts will be at aminor.tumblr.com. I hope to get some interesting posts up soon. I've been pretty tired since I arrived and haven't had the initiative to photograph any of my outings yet. I do, however, have a free weekend, so expect something. See you at the new blog.

The American Wind Energy Association announced that the US is now the world leader in wind energy production. We even surpassed those greener than green Germans. It's only 1.5 percent of the United States' energy, but it is also "...the equivalent power that 28.7 million tons of coal or 90 million barrels of oil and displaces 34 million tons of carbon dioxide annually." Now let's not ruin things and elect McCain and Sarah "I hate my own sex and common sense" Palin.

Political Bullshit

This is a clip that has Republican commentators talking about how the Sarah Palin nomination is a disaster. Thankfully a mic was left on and caught gems like "I think they went for this -- excuse me-- political bullshit about narratives --" and that from a women no less, even though Palin is the most insulting women candidate that could have ever been picked. They also mention how Palin is not the most qualified woman Republican candidate, which probably leads to the bullshit charge. Anyways, hopefully this is a sign that Republicans are falling apart.
