This joins Jesus Camp, and not quite so directly The Bridge, as disturbing documentaries that will be released this year.

Deliver Us From Evil, touches on the recent controversy surrounded the litany of child molestation cases involving Catholic priests. Just from this trailer alone, you get the sense that the film will show you how terrible things actually are, almost to the extent that you don't want to know about it. If that's what it does, then it would probably be effective in inspiring some change.

You Noticed

Just released, a proper trailer for the first Bond film featuring Daniel Craig. Judging by this full trailer, it seems really good. Daniel Craig seems to have the charm, the looks still don't quite fit, but it's the charm that counts.

It seems to fulfill the promise made by the film makers, that things would be grittier. The action scenes seem super intense too. Either way, I'm looking forward to this Bond film now.

I found this photo on engadget, being a great tech news website. As many know, there have been several recalls for laptop batteries because of security risks. Here's a reason to take up Dell on that battery replacment recall.

We Don't Care About The Young Folks

Courtesy of Alex, and I believe his hulla-hooping talents, I got myself a card for a free song from iTunes.

I used it a few minutes after I got home. I clicked around in iTunes to get to the store, and the redeem section. Entered in a code, signed up for a membership and bought myself "Young Folks" by Peter, Bjorn and John. Through this I realized that iTunes is pretty sweet. It's so easy to use. This whole process probably took less than 5 minutes. The song downloaded in two shakes of kittens whiskers, and it came with the cover art. Only issue is that I'd have to convert the songs to mp3 or wma to put them on my mp3 player. Not a big deal though. I love myself some CDs, and the majority of people still buy their music in CD form, but after actually using it, this online thing is really neat.

It's instant, you hear a cool song, you buy it. Then immediately it's yours to put on your mp3 player, burn, whatever. So, whenever I can actually afford to hop on this online music train, I'm there.

MySpace, Worst Website Online?

PC World, in a recent, "The 25 Worst Websites" article, put MySpace at #1.

I don't know how it got quite so popular, it's really ugly, and very clunky. Something much sexier must exist, probably less popular, but my goodness, just look at MySpace, it's terribly ugly. Even though I don't care for "social networking" sites in general, Facebook looks much better, at least. I do hear that Facebook has plans to open the site to the general public, so it will probably end up looking terrible, as well.

I've had issues with iPods before, but these new features, mainly the battery life and gapless playback, help the cause. $250 for 30gigs isn't too shabby either.

One thing to note; student discount does not apply to these new iPods.

Kickin' It?

Something about school time makes me want to do more blogging, even though there has been a lack of that. Who knows, I might try posting a radio.blog again, might kick out another survey(about time, really), we'll see. I did think though, it would be neat if someone interviewed me, besides myself. The regular readers are free to do so, but odds are you won't, because you don't care to participate in enriching the content of my blog.

Well, besides that I'm just kickin' it. I'll try my best to keep things interesting.

UHHHH, why does do my abs hurt this much? It's like the pain of soreness mixed with the pain of being super hungry, AKA it hurts a lot. Damn you school week, damn you straight into a black hole. Uhhh, I most assuredly have a fever too. Fairly unrevealing personal post, done.

I'm currently watching it and it's hardcore. OMG!!!! Extended intro with more of the hilarious theme song!!! Thank you Amazon and some Canadian cartoon channel for releasing this. Eventually I'll burn copies of this and give it to the masses.

Two men have been cleared of deadly skin cancer using genetically modified versions of their own immune cells.

I'll try to explain through quotes.

"Dr Stephen Rosenberg and his team isolated T cells from the cancer patients and multiplied them in the lab.

Next they used a virus to carry receptor genes into the T cells. These receptors are what enable the modified T cell to recognise specific cancers - in this case malignant melanoma.

When the modified T cells were transfused into the patients they began to attack the tumour cells."

So, from what I understand. They tought these cells how to kill cancer. Badass!

However...

"Dr Edel O'Toole, consultant dermatologist at the Centre for Cutaneous Research, Barts, and British Skin Foundation spokesman, said: "I think that the success of this approach in two patients shows promise, however 15 patients did not respond to the treatment suggesting that further work is needed to optimise this approach for all patients, which could take many years."

Still that's some very impressive medical science at work.
