Wal-Mart unveils drop in profits

First off, I hate Wal-Mart, with a passion. It's not just because being at Wal-Mart makes you feel like dying because everyone in there seems so depressed, oh no. It's because Wal-Mart undercuts small American businesses, forcing them to close and through it's vigorous effort to keep prices low, forces companies like Kraft and Rubbermaid to cut costs and fire employees just to meet Wal-Mart's asking price.

"Wal-Mart has been beset by problems in recent months, including facing stiff competition in its home market where sales growth has lagged behind rival discount retailers Target and Costco."

I love Costco and Target.

"It decision to pull out of Germany led to a $863m hit, and came in the wake of its exit from South Korea."
