So Much For Being Gracious
Venezuelans recently voted 51% to 49% against proposals by Hugo Chavez to amend the constitution.
"When he first acknowledged defeat, Mr Chavez had adopted a calm and measured tone, accepting the outcome as a 'decision the people have made.'"
"But on Wednesday, speaking at a televised news conference alongside armed forces chiefs, he decried the opposition's success as 'a shit victory.'"
Now, I don't know much Spanish but I do know what mierda means and I watched the speech and Chavez drops mierda "liberally". I can also imagine what "victoria de mierda" means. I get the feeling I should take a Chavez hiatus, but he is such a reliable source for craziness.
