Good Heavens!

It's been a while since I last posted, so it's time for a politically related blog rant.

First, can I say Gobama? He's won ten states in a row and really dominated last night's CNN/Univison debate. I think, he will most likely win the Democratic nomination. That all depends on what happens March 4th, but he seems be winning the hearts of most Americans. Now the second question is, can he beat John McCain? Well, consider a few things. First, there's a huge age gap and more importantly what that age gap means to people. If you look at a fairly centrist, fairly straight-forward and not all too charismatic 71 year old next to a young, inspiring to many, fairly progressive 46 year old, the contrast isn't to favorable to John McCain. Due to John McCain's centrist stance, lots of conservatives couldn't care less about him, either. Then, there's the dirt. The New York Times published an article stating that John McCain may have had an affair with a lobbyist Vicki Iseman. It could be totally false, although The New York Times is a pretty well respected news paper, but the idea is there. If it can be tapped at the right times, it will eat away at the public perception of McCain's character. I don't thoroughly dislike John McCain, I don't like him much either, but Barack has got to win this election and my bet is, he will. Gobama!
