Buzzcocks

I was listening to some Nouvelle Vague and they broke out of a cover of the song "Ever Fallen in Love" Pretty famous song, I believe. I found out Buzzcocks did it. I previously thought Buzzcocks were some loud and noisy English punk group, which isn't my bag, but ohh no quite the opposite. They are actually more pop than they are punk. The melodies somewhat reminds me of early Beatles but with that punk energy and brashness (correct me if you think I'm off).No political messages here, mostly songs about love, all seeming to have a somewhat humorus take on being unsuccessful at it. Either way I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the CD "Singles Going Steady", that seems to be the one to get.
