Whoa, This Could Get Awkward
It has been joked about, or used as a way to critisize American culture, many times, but it has finally happened. A movie about events that occurred on September 11th, 2001 has been made. It focuses on the one flight that crashed in Pennsylvania. "Flight 93" is supposed to be a real time account of what happened on that flight. I guarantee, even if the film does a beautiful job of telling the story, that this will be one controversial beast. Either way, here's the trailer.

Yeah, I read a little while ago in the New York Times about them making that movie. I was suprised because it seems a little bit too close to be making a movie about that. Like with the Titanic, they waited a long time before making A Night to Remember, and September 11 had a lot more people die. It hasn't even been 5 years yet. I seems just way to early. I mean, I wasn't even directly affected and when I was talking about that day with my mom last week I was getting pretty choked up, as all the memories were coming back to me, of my little sister's terrified face asking when things would go back to normal, and all the horror that we all went through that day. Of my teacher printing out a picture of the burning World Trade Center from the internet as it was still burning. Looking at that picture and realizing that it was happening at that moment, that they were burning and there were people inside. And a city was watching it happen. I mean, the memories are just way too close.
