Early Spring

Yesterday was the first day of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. From March 31st to April 15th, Washington D.C. commemorates the thousands of cherry blossom trees that adorn the capitol. I kind of wish I could visit the capitol, but maybe I can plan that for next year. I hear that lots of Japanese people visit D.C. because it's quieter here than in Japan. Interesting thought.
