Darwinian Poetry

A program was invented to randomly create poems. People are given two poems and must choose which one is the best. The "good" poems are then used a basis to create more poems. The success ultimately depends on whether or not the people judging the poems have good taste, but I do think it's interesting. I would like this to actually lead to interesting poetry. I like the idea that it can't be thought of in traditional ways. You can't possibly go into the symbolism or motives or historical relevance, because they don't exist. That's neat to me.
