Happy Song

Recently, I believe, early demos of what was to become Radiohead have surfaced. Back in the late 80's the group was called On A Friday and they were anything but Radiohead, the music was incredibly upbeat and pop. It's not too shabby, sometimes a bit of 80's campiness gets in the mix, but it's still pretty solid pop music. Reminds me a bit of Elvis Costello. The early demo track "To Be A Brilliant Light" is much closer to Radiohead, but still not quite, the James Brown-esque vocals bits are a dash out of place.
