ClearType

Not sure how many readers are Windows users, but I think at least two. Well, here's tip for Windows users.

There's option in Windows, might only be XP, and if you don't have Windows XP then my tip is try to get a new computer. Either way, there's an option to enable ClearType which smooths all the text in Windows and online. It's pretty noticeable and much more pleasant to read.

Steps:
1. Right-click on the desktop.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select Appearance.
4. Select Effects on the lower right-hand side of the window.
5. Under the "Use the following to smooth edges of screen fonts:" option, choose ClearType.

You'll be glad you did it.
