How Are Things On The West Coast?

Live video recording of new Interpol songs have hit the streets, AKA Youtube. The two new tracks are called "Pioneer" and "Heinrich Maneuver". Are they good? Yes, they are. The problem is that their sound hasn't changed much. Only big difference that I can see is that Paul is playnig a Jaguar now. Might as well give tiny track reviews.

"Pioneer" is slow track, with pounding drums, pretty thick keys and sounds fairly movie-esque.
Might be a solid album track.

"Heinrich Maneuver" is a pretty tough track. Something like "Roland" if it was more straightforward.

Turns out Paul was also playing a Flying V that night. Oh well, I'm a bit dissapointed. They aren't bad songs, but I have the feelings I'll forget them. You'll just have to search Youtube for the performances.

Dear Krsna,

1. (RE: Touché) I rule.
2. (RE: How Are Things On The West Coast) Interpol rules. (I haven't heard the new tracks yet though).
3. Can I do a guest post on why the NHL playoffs rule?

You can submit a post and I'll see if I like it, and if I do, then I'll put it up. One tip would be to try and keep it in the spirit of the blog somehow. Like if the blog was a mixtape, try and put some songs the blog might enjoy on that mixtape. Do have fun though.

Granted, that's not a bad post, but I don't really have any know-how about hockey, so most of that stuff I can't put in context. I don't know any of these guys, I get the feeling most readers don't either.

I thank you for your interest in doing a guest post, but maybe sports doesn't go so well with the blog. I'll give you my e-mail in the future, so you can submit stuff that way.
