Kodak 1881
This has to be one of the best examples of form over function that I have ever seen. Kodak, with the help of designer Lindsey Pickett, developed a gadget that looks more like a Victorian locket or brooch than a digital camera. I'm told you tap it to take pictures, and can view the pictures by flipping the camera open and revealing the internal LCD screen, or use that screen as a view finder. I can imagine this camera having terrible image quality, and being really frustrated by the lack on controls, but it looks so cool.
